I've
Got a Secret!
In June of 2001 I received a request to appear on a T.V. show called,
'I've got a Secret'. On August 13th I was flown to L.A. California,
where I stayed 2 nights at Summerfield Suites by Windham in West
Hollywood Los Angeles area.
Here is where I'll be putting up pictures, recounts of my time there,
and basically just brag 'Look what I got to do!'

Watch Video Clips from the Show
Here are segments from show# 245 of Oxygen's "I've Got A Secret".
They are on a Tripod server, because they are too large to fit on
my own. You will need Real Player to view them.
To Watch: Either click, and let realplayer load them (depending
on your connection, you may want to save the file to your hard drive
to view), or save them and view them.
Segment
1 - I am the 2nd contestant on the game show. Here is my segment,
where the Celebrity panel tries to ask 'Yes or No' questions to
determine my 'secret'. Before the taping, the studio allowed us
to watch a live taping so we would see what it was like. I noticed
that the celebrity panel made great use of the contestants facial
expressions, and other non-verbal communication to determine if
they were close to the right guess. I decided to adopt my infamous
poker-face, which worked better than I expected. At one point, Terry
Garr gets flustered and says 'Toothbrush from texas?'. At the end,
Model comes out with a duct tape skirt and top I had made before
I arrived at LA. The skirt and top was not as elaborate as I would
have liked, because I did not know the models measurements, and
therefore couldn't risk having to make a lot of time consuming changes
beforehand. But the duct tape fashion show turned out ok :-) Note:
The hostess, Stephanie Miller, ad-libbed about the skirt and dress.
Segment
2- This segment ran
at the end of the show, before and during
the final credits. I am beside the other contestants, and give out
samples of my duct tape wares. The celebrity panel is thrilled,
and seemed to really enjoy what they got. I have celebrities in
Hollywood wearing my stuff, Isn't life grand?

Stephanie Miller
